Overview
Objective:
Construct type. Create a series of posters for an architectural event.
Objective:
“Music is liquid architecture; Architecture is frozen music.” I was inspired by this quote, so I named my project Frozen Music. I chose to develop a poster series on a lecture series on the overall qualities shared between music and architecture. I used three words which are echo, vivid and flow to express their shared qualities: rhythm, motion, and emotion.

Behind the scene
Since this project is experimental type for an architectural event, I decided to build the type by using the same white cardboard material. Combining laser cutting and paper sculpting, each construct type was built by me to capture, reflect and flow with the light.

I used three words which are echo, vivid and flow to express architectural and music shared qualities: rhythm, motion, and emotion.
